The Ocean Blue

As someone who has been swimming since before I could even walk I simply adore the water. Be it the ocean, the swimming pool or even just the bath… I was a competitive swimmer from the age of 6, winning hundreds of medals and trophies along the way and as a teenager I even worked as a lifeguard for a number of years.This is why when I am on holidays I spend every waking minute by the water. I find the ocean so therapeutic. Listening to the waves crashing on the shore is one of the most beautiful sounds there is! Even when I am dressed for dinner I have to sneak in to the water for a paddle and what better colour to be wearing for an evening dip in the sea than ocean blue.This dress was inspired by the water with its tassels like waves flowing across the front.The hints of white from my accessories also add to this ocean inspired look with a touch of silver and diamanté glistening in the evening sunshine.Nicola x
