For any of you Irish folk out there, I am pretty sure you have heard of the “Late Late Show”, for anyone who isn’t from Ireland it is one of the most famous chat shows ever to hit Irish T.V. screens.
I have watched this show since I was little and was overwhelmed with excitement when my Mother got tickets for her, Myself and my Brother to go along and be a part of the audience.
My excitement was further enhanced when I was asked to take part in the show live on T.V. by playing their audience game. I was shown photographs of famous celebrities and had to guess who was the youngest. Thankfully I got all of the questions correct and won a prize of a selection of Dr. Hauscha beauty products for everyone in the Audience.
Now I have difficulty enough deciding what to wear every day so you can imagine the trouble I went to trying to decide what to wear, knowing that this show would be broadcast into almost every sitting room in Ireland. I finally settled on this leopard print sequin jacket from Arrogant Cat which I picked up several years ago in London. I kept the rest of the outfit relatively simple with black and gold but topped it all off with a leopard print Jimmy Choo “Mandah” handbag!
By total coincidence, the day that we had the tickets for the show just happened to be the day that the triumphant Donegal GAA team, who had won the Sam Maguire cup were appearing on the show. Being from Donegal ourselves it was an added bonus to be there to join in with their celebrations, I was even lucky enough to speak with Manager Jim McGuinness, some of the team members and hold the famous “Sam Maguire Cup”.
A perfect end to a perfect evening!
