Through my post as “Fashion Writer” for Niji Magazine, I discovered a totally unique and inspirational fashion brand called “Sulphurgenic Bow-Ties”.Mel and Catrise at Sulphurgenic have combined forces to rebrand the formal bow-tie and make it a fashion statement beyond belief.Gone are the days when bow-ties were solely for mens formal wear. With this “new species of bow-tie” men, women and children can transform any look from formal to day wear into something funky and unique, simply by adding one of these quirky creations.When I saw their range of camouflage and spiked bow-ties, I absolutely had to have one and was delighted to be offered this one which is aptly named “Trench”.When I received the bow-tie I could not believe how high the standard and quality were considering each piece is handmade with a very quick turnover. Everything from the material to the presentation was ultimate perfection.The first look I chose to wear with the bow-tie consisted of an Arrogant Cat wide sleeved shirt tucked into a pair of khaki River Island jeans. I also added some more camouflage items with the Louis Vuitton “Monogramouflage” speedy handbag and the “Farandole” bangle.I chose the surroundings of the greenery and hedges to play on the idea of army camouflage, blending in with the background, whilst wearing an outfit that stands out from the crowd.I hope you like it.Nicola x
