Shadows on the Green

In stark contrast to my last post about my wonderful makeover and photo shoot, here for you is a much more natural and casual set of pictures taken on a stroll through St. Stephens Green in Dublin last week.

As much as I love the big city, I also love the escape that comes with walking through a green park surrounded by lakes, knowing that just outside those boundaries the hustle and bustle is still going on.

No matter where I go or what big city I visit, I always find these hidden treasures and take time out from the mayhem to relax.

We were so blessed with the weather in Dublin, as at home in Donegal it had been raining. Luckily I had made the wise choice of packing a little t-shirt dress which I had picked up in a funky boutique in Crete called “Epiloges”. It was ideal for the warmth of the sun and comfortable enough for a walk in the park.

My handbag, which was the Louis Vuitton “Saleya” in damier azur, matched perfectly with the denim tones of the dress and to add some bling I teamed it with a gold version of my diamante sandals from River Island which I wear everywhere!

Although these pics were taken on my little camera and are lacking in clarity and quality, I love the shadows in the photographs as they perfectly compliment the sunlight pushing its way through the foliage in the background.
