Last weekend we finally saw a break in the weather and the first glimpse of summer appeared through the clouds.
Although still a windy day, I took the opportunity to bare my legs in a rock chick style dress from Topshop and my old faithful “Chiara Ferragni” biker boots to go for a stroll along the water.
One of my favourite places to walk is by the abandoned railroad in Derry/Londonderry which stretches along the banks of the River Foyle.
As a child I used to listen to my Grandmother’s stories of how she would often get the train to Donegal from the city so to visit the old station and the barren tracks I almost felt like I was stepping in to history, and retracing the steps she once took.
I love how the eeriness of the deserted surroundings goes hand in hand with the rocker style of my outfit for the day, which was perfectly complimented my studded handbag, a birthday gift from my brother.
