I absolutely love having my nails done but in my line of work, I simply cannot keep up to extensions. I break them or bend them or damage my own nails in the process so I love to experiment with different types of polishes on my own natural nails instead.

When “The Loop” sent me this beautiful limited edition Matte polish from Yves Saint Laurent, I was delighted. I had never tried a matte finish polish before and was super excited to see the result.

The “mats” were released in four colours with each one representing the couture legacy of YSL. 

I tried “Le Fuchsia” described as – “an audacious pink of scandalous conduct”, but there is also:

La Rouge – a seductive red of absolution and passion

Le Orange – the injection of visor, hedonism and exoticism

La Nu – A refined nude drenched in sensuality and warmth.
