Wedding Bells

Last weekend one of my very closest friends married the man of her dreams and I was delighted to be there to witness such a beautiful occasion.

Stacey Maguire and Andrew McCausland met at University many years ago, where I also met Stacey for the first time. It was clear from then that they were destined to be together.

I was determined to be surprised on the day so I refused to ask any questions about what Stacey’s dress was like or what they had planned for the day and I was not disappointed.

When Stacey arrived at the service in Kiltonga Hall, I was absolutely blown away! She was the most stunning bride I had ever seen with a beautiful vintage style lace dress and a gorgeous bow and net headpiece. Everyone’s eyes filled up as the two spoke their vows and joined their lives together as one.

The reception took place in the gorgeous surroundings of Bangor Golf Club, where Andrew is an avid member. We dined in style and danced the night away.

I chose to break the theory that fashion bloggers never wear the same outfit twice by choosing this pink vintage dress which I also wore last year to Belfast Fashion Week. It was the perfect match for this beautiful headpiece that I was given as a gift from Deb Fanning Millinery (as seen Here) which was ideal for the occasion. I matched it with a Louis Vuitton “pochette” handbag and some diamante jewellery to complete the look. I was also lucky enough to receive a spray tan courtesy of Roco Hair for the day which I will show you in my next post.

I would like to congratulate Stacey and Andy and wish them a long and happy life together!
