As Summer is well and truly here, our minds are wandering towards beautiful sunshine and sipping cocktails by the beach.
I wouldn’t be much of a drinker, in fact I didn’t drink at all until very recently when the allure of champagne and sweet cocktails became more than a little tempting.
There are some fab cocktail bars quite close to where I live and I love nothing more than gathering a group of friends together, getting glammed up and hitting the town to try out a few of their specialities.
Its hard to pick my favourite cocktails but I have narrowed it down to my top 5 choices which are the perfect accessory to help you cool down on a hot Summer’s evening:
1- Blossom’s Breeze
“A refreshing twist on a very classic cocktail, the Sea Breeze”

2 – Cosmopolitan
A sharp blend of Vodka, Triple Sec, Cranberry Juice and Lime Juice ala “Sex and the City”

A popular blended strawberry and rum drink

4 – Porn Star Martini:
Passion Fruit Martini with half of a Passionfruit laced in powdered sugar floating on top, served with a tall shooter of Champagne.

I have to admit I am a girl who loves to chill out and have my drink made up for me by the talented bar staff, however, I think it would be so much fun to have the girls around for an evening and attempt to make some of our favourite cocktails or experiment to create our very own recipes.
I came across this video on “how to make the perfect cocktail” which details some amazing tips and tricks to help create your favourite tipple! Well worth a watch!
