On Thursday evening past, I attended the RSVP/Oasis Style Blogger 2013 Awards at the Oasis Store in St. Stephens Green, Dublin.
I was delighted to be chosen as one of thirty finalists which was an honour in itself but I was announced as the People’s choice winner on the night and I could not have been more shocked and delighted!
Each entry was put to a public vote and thanks to the incredible amount of support I received from Family, Friends, Followers etc. I won!
Hearing my name being called out was simply incredible and a moment I will never forget.
There was an amazing celeb judging panel which consisted of Jane Lundon, Editor at RSVP magazine, Debbie O’ Donnell, Producer of TV show Xpose and Ian Galvin, Chairman of Aurora Fashions.
There were two prizes and they chose the judges selection, which was the fabulous Claire Jameson from Justified by Jemo who was a very worthy winner and such a lovely girl.
The evening was hosted by TV3 weather man Mr. Deric O h’Artagain and after he announced the two winners he set us both a fun challenge. We had to dash around the store and chose three outfits, one to suit a casual lunch date, one for a night of cocktails with the girls and a third which showed how we would style a winter coat. We then had to present the outfits to the audience in a style workshop.
It was so much fun.
As well as getting the chance to style outfits on the night, we also won €300 worth of Oasis clothes each and the chance to not only feature in RSVP magazine and website but to style our very own photoshoot to appear in a future edition!
The night was simply amazing and one of the extreme highlights of my blogging career to date!
I met some fabulous Irish bloggers and some of the top names in the Irish fashion scene as well as having the chance to take home some of the stunning items available in Oasis right now.
The question is… What did I pick?
All will be revealed!
