Well I’m sad to say this is the last post from my holiday in Crete and this one perhaps brings the fondest memories.
As our apartments were situated on a very steep hill and I didn’t exactly bring my walking shoes, we had to find a way of getting around so we rented a quad bike. (I did want to rent a bright pink one, however, I don’t think my boyfriend would have been too pleased with that choice)
We used the quad to travel the island, exploring small villages, large towns and everything in between.
We had so much fun and I have to say I became quite the whizz at maneuvering this little motor through the winding streets and along the speedy motorways.
Ever the inappropriate dresser, on this particular evening I was wearing a short sequin tipped dress which I purchased in Blush Boutique, Carndonagh, hardly the correct gear for cruising the island on a quad. With this dress I wore gold accessories including sandals from River Island with a skull feature on the front and a gold Guess handbag. I even found a holder for my bag in the shape of the quad handlebars.
I am sure that was the original intention for the use of this device…
