On our second night in London, my boyfriend and I got dressed up and went into Leicester Square, the hub of London nightlife. We started the evening with a beautiful meal in the Angus Steak House and as we were eating we noticed an amazing colourful building on the opposite side of the road lit up with neon lights. I was intrigued and had to check it out.
It turned out to be “M&M’s World” a huge store and museum stocking anything and everything M&M’s related. I had no idea how big an empire these tiny sweets had become, yet the more we explored the four levels of yellow, red, green and blue the more I realised exactly how huge the brand truly was.
From rows and rows of multi-coloured sweets on sale, to giant displays and interactive devices, around every corner there was something new. There was even a leather jacket embossed with Swarovski crystal M&M’s retailing at over £2000.
It was an incredible experience. Perhaps not your typical London night spot but a very unusual evening of fun which made for some super colourful pictures.
My outfit, in complete opposition to the brightness of the evening, was black with gold details, including a River Island studded dress and my favourite jacket, of the moment, from the Versace for H&M collection. (as I wore here.) For the first time in my life I was disciplined enough to only bring one pair of heels for the weekend away and settled on the gold Carvela sandals that I had matched with my Sequin Dress from the night before.
