Last weekend my Boyfriend and I went to London.
The trip was my birthday present from him and I had been waiting for it to come for what felt like forever.
London is one of my favourite cities in the world (so far) and I love to visit as often as I can, so the thought of a full weekend there was Heaven.
We travelled very early on Friday morning and arrived there just on time to check in to our stunning hotel, The Melia Whitehouse and hit the town for a day of shopping.
As we were very tired and on a mission to raid every shop within a 30 mile radius, I didn’t get a lot of photographs from the daytime but that evening we went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner, where I soon made up for it. I was testing out my new lighter weight camera, the Panasonic Lumix TZ-20, as my Canon 600d was just a little heavy to carry with all our bags. I have to say I really liked it, it is a great little compact camera with amazing quality for its size.
The Hard Rock Cafe never fails to deliver on a fantastic meal with great atmosphere and lots to admire. We even visited their memorabilia shop to purchase a “Hard Rock” limited edition badge to add to my collection. I have one from every cafe I have ever been to and my friends even bring me them if they visit a Hard Rock store.
As the weather was a whole lot warmer in London than it was in Ireland, my daytime look consisted of a cute Jack Wills dress (which you can tell I am a fan of from here) and converse trainers. I travelled with the Louis Vuitton “Neverfull” handbag and travel wallet which were amazing to fit everything into and keep myself organised.
For the evening look I went for a sequin dress by Unique Boutique, teamed with gold Carvela heels and a skull embossed McQueen clutch to add some edge to the look. Not forgetting lots of “bling” from Boudoir Boutique
