I was so excited recently when I was contacted by Firmoo (www.firmoo.com), a Global online optical store, specialising in prescription and fashion glasses. I was offered the opportunity to pick a pair of glasses from their collection to review for my blog. The choice was amazing on their website and I had a hard time narrowing it down to pick my favourite. I finally decided on these funky round framed, metal sunglasses which are bang on trend right now. A cross between John Lennon and Lady Gaga, I felt only but a superstar when wearing these raven beauties.

The Firmoo website also offer a fun service in which you can use a virtual try-on system. This allows you to scan a picture of yourself into the website and see how the glasses will look on you before you buy them. I absolutely loved this feature and it really helped me to make my final decision on which pair to choose.
My general sunglasses style would be – the bigger the better – so with this pair I ventured a little out of my comfort zone, going for a smaller frame and a totally different look, yet I absolutely loved the result.
The vintage rocker trend is huge for Autumn/Winter ’12 with bowler hats, rocker t-shirts, studded jackets and camo prints and to compliment my quirky “firmoo” glasses I teamed them with a few from this list. My bowler hat is from Topshop, my t-shirt is a vintage “Rolling Stones” top by Amplified and the jacket is from the Versace by H&M first collection.
This weekend I took my boyfriend to Birmingham for his birthday and this look seemed perfect for travelling and a bit of shopping at the Bullring in the city centre.
I have never had as many compliments on a pair of sunglasses before whilst walking down the street and if that doesn’t speak for itself then I’m not sure what will!
