Who said crop-tops have to be confined to Summer? All you have to do is find one in a heavier fabric, pick a skirt to match, add tights and you have your perfect recipe for a chic winter outfit.

I absolutely loved this two piece from Exhibit – its dressy without being OTT and would be great dressed up for a few Christmas drinks or dressed down with flats and a fur gilet for a bit of stylish shopping.

Exhibit is an ideal shop for ladies like me who like to constantly rotate their wardrobe, their clothing and accessories are so affordable – this top for example is just £13, as is the skirt. 

I paired the look with my boots from Primark and kept the accessories to a minimum to show that you definitely do not need to buy designer to look stylish – style is what you make it, be it Exhibit or Escada, Primark or Prada!
