Contouring Tutorial

After posting a few pictures of my makeup contouring on Snapchat, many of you sent me messages asking for a tutorial video on how to do it.Whilst I don’t claim to be an MUA or in any way perfect at applying makeup, this method really works for me and I have made it as simple as possible in this step by step tutorial for you guys to do it at home! Here is a list of what I did and step by step guidelines with products if you need any extra help.Don’t be afraid to adapt the steps to products of your own choice!Step 1 Apply your own foundation lightly all over your face (I used Bare Minerals Compact Powder colour (R230) and applied with Bare Minerals buffing brush) Step 2 Apply the lightest colour of concealer in a semi-circle above and between your eyebrows and down the centre of your nose in a line(I used the Mac flat foundation brush no.190 and the Crown Brush Contouring Palette)Step 3Apply the lightest colour concealer in semi circles directly under your eyes, under your nose as far as your lip and across the centre of your chin.(Products same as before)Step 4With the darkest colour concealer, draw two lines directly under your cheekbones in whichever shape you wish to define them.(Products same as before)Step 5Draw two lines with the darkest colour concealer straight down either side of your nose, the starting from the top centre of your forehead, make five circles of dark concealer along your hairline.(Products same as before)Step 6Lightly blend your makeup in circular motions(I used the Mac Duo Fibre Face Brush no.187sh)Step 7For blending smaller areas like the bridge of your nose, use a smaller blending brush(For this I used the Mac Short Duo Fibre Brush no.130)Step 8To create a flawless finish I buffed my entire face using my Bare Minerals buffing brushStep 9I completed the look by adding some bronzer for extra definition just under my cheekbones.(For this I used Mac Bronzer (Tantone) and applied it using the Powder & Pout contouring brush)I hope this is helpful and you can follow me on snapchat (sequincinders) for more fun updates! If you have any  other ideas for tutorials let me know!Nicola x
