This event is an opportunity for fashion enthusiasts to gather with friends for a wonderful dinner and enjoy an up close and personal look at some stunning designs.
This season we got to see the fabulous creations of emerging designer Stephen Mageean.
I got my first glimpse of Stephen’s fashion line at the NI Designer Show and was blown away!
His revelations looked like something we would see from a long time established designer as opposed to a debut collection.
We dined on four lavish courses, each one more mouthwatering than the last and in between each one we were treated to another stunning display of bespoke creations.
My favourite items had to be the luxurious tweed jacket which would not have been out of place on a Chanel runway and the incredibly elegant backless evening gowns.
What made the event even more personal was the fact that Stephen himself talked us through each of his designs, he explained his creative process and his artistic concepts as well as describing how we can get our hands on these beauties.
We also got to hear from the Make Up artist Paddy McGurgan, the hair stylist from the infamous “Andrew Mulvenna Hair” and a representative from Benefit Cosmetics, each of which revealed their techniques and tips used within the show for us to try ourselves at home.
For this event, surprise surprise, I chose another vintage beaded dress from Boudoir Boutique NI.
As you can probably guess by now, this store is one of my favourite Northern Irish boutiques and I absolutely love the element of being unique that comes with the Vintage Fashion that they stock.
I loved the fact that this dress toys with the concept of the “LBD” but has a playful side with the colourful sequins and beading. I matched it with my Louis Vuitton “Multicolore” speedy handbag and a beautiful pair of emerald coloured earrings from the Anna Dello Russo for H&M collection.
You may also have noticed a slight difference in my hair colour in my last two posts. I decided I needed a little change so I went for a chocolate brown with a hint of plum throughout!
Hope you like!
